spun in gold

IMG_1643

I am now in Colorado and last night on my walk I was stopped in my tracks. Everything around me looked as if it had been spun in gold- from the glittering yellow trees to the amber colored grass, even the sky seemed to sparkle with shades of yellow. It was beautiful enough to melt your heart, or at least mine cause thats the kind of girl I am :)

I remember a fall drive through Colorado with my husband a few years ago, and the Aspens are just magical, like they are on fire from the inside!

Your pictures show one reason why I LOVE Autumn! The colors are magical and the feeling in the air is renewing to me. Oh, and your sketchbook is awesome. It's making me want to go pick up a watercolor travel set. What black pen do you use? Is it waterproof?

There's nothing like Colorado in the fall. I live in Loveland and it's gorgeous here right now - definitely my favorite season. You captured it beautifully in your photos (and your sketchbook is amazing!!)

I love your art journal pages! Great photographs and recipes too, a lovely blog to visit. Reading an old post about classes and Ning, and this may not be applicable any longer, I wonder if you have thought of this. Whatever the annual fee is with Ning, divide that into potential fee paying students and add that very small amount to the class fee. It is generally much less than $5 per person and it would allow individuals longer access to classes. If you are offering classes for $50, they become $55 each. Other people have a donation button, but this can't be depended on.

I hope to take one of your classes in the near future.
